What is UnConFoo?
It is an UnConference, meaning that there is no fee to attend, no call for papers and anyone can present. It is more about sharing ideas rather than giving a formal lecture.
Who should attend?
Anybody who's into Web technologies. If you like sharing ideas, experiences or knowledge, or if you simply want to meet other geeks in not too structured a context, you should attend. Bring your friends and colleagues!
Who can present?
Anyone can present. If your topic is related to Web technologies, just walk in and use the big pasteboard to post a topic to discuss. The pasteboard will be open Wednesday to submit ideas.
Presentation Format
Presentations will be no more than 30 minutes long. It is best to make the presentation interactive, no slides. A round-table is favored, but it's really up to you. If you have any demos, make sure that everything you need is on your laptop.
Schedule
There is no planned schedule. It is part of the concept. You are free to submit and document the event on the wiki that is available for the event on http://un.confoo.ca/ (that would be here).
